We have finally found a builder. Unfortunately no builder seriously considered building our dome home so we decided to build a conventional home although we still are going to try to make it as energy efficient as possible. We have also gotten an build estimate and pre-approved bank loan. We have done a lot-walk on January 25 with our builder. Next is a final pre-construction meeting to get our final cost before going to our bank for final approval. If all goes well, construction could begin by the end of March. So far there is not much to see – other than NO CORN! Looking at the picture VERY carefully you might see Tom planting orange flags on the tiny rise in the middle of the picture. He appears to be about 2 pixels tall!
