For a long time we have had gravel in the basement, in the garage and on the front stoop. We knew at some point those places would have to become poured concrete. This was the week. As you can see below, the first step was to lay a plastic liner down. In the picture below taken on July 14, it is showing the garage, but that plastic was also on the stoop and in the basement.
Well today we have that poured concrete. At first when I saw it, I thought the top was very shiny because there was water sitting on top. That is not the case. The concrete was solid so there must have been some special coating put on top – additional waterproofing compound. So here below is our shiny new floors in the garage and basement.
