Roughing in has started!

We are close to half-way through the construction timeline.  The last few weeks has been very slow due to consistent heavy rains.  In fact, there have been several inches of water in the basement for the last couple of weeks.  It would get pumped out and more rain flows in.  Fortunately, this week is supposed to be dry, so we might be able to get that roof on to keep the water out.  In the picture below, we can see stacks of materials on the top of the roof.  Hopefully, that will be on within a few days.

In the meantime, additional work has been going on inside. Plumbing is being roughed in.  We have white PVC pipes connecting the wet areas venting to the roof.  We can see that below.

In the basement, there is also PVC piping for the wastewater already in place. Recently, I got yet another permit for the septic system excavation and installation, so I am also expecting the septic system to be going in soon.

In this next picture, we can see blue (cold) and red (hot) plastic tubes that carry fresh water to sinks, showers, or tubs.  This particular picture is the roughed-in plumbing for the washer.
